Drum Sounds

Below is the current list of MIDI drum sounds that you can choose from to customize your 8 piece drum kit. To listen to a particular sound, simply click on the name of the sound. These are not pre-recorded WAV or MP3 sound bites. We have configured these links below to pass the actual MIDI sound code directly to your soundcard (like it does in our Drum Kit). This means that the sound samples below will sound exactly the same when you choose them to be in your kit. 

It is IMPORTANT to test the sounds out before you decide to include it in your Drum Kit because older sound cards do not have the best quality synthesizers used to play the drum sounds. The best quality synthesizer we have tested has been the Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synthesizer. You can check to see if your computer has this type of synthesizer by accessing the Control Panel in your Microsoft operating system and then clicking on the Sounds and Multimedia icon. In there click on the "Audio" tab and make sure that the "MIDI Music Playback" device is set to the best quality synthesizer that you have. Some soundcards list more than just one type of synthesizer that can be used.
